왕이 중국 외교부장이 한국을 찾았습니다. 왕이 부장은 어제 강경화 외교부 장관과 만난 자리에서 세계 안정의 최대 위협은 패권주의라며 미국을 겨냥한 비판을 쏟아냈습니다.

1박 2일 일정으로 방한 일정을 시작한 왕이 중국 외교부장은 카운터파트인 강경화 외교부 장관과 만났습니다. 왕 부장은 회담 모두 발언에서 패권주의가 국제 질서를 해치고 있다며 미국을 비판했습니다.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who began his two-day visit to Seoul, meeting with his counterpart Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha. Minister Wang criticized the U.S. in all his remarks, saying hegemonism is hurting the international order.
<왕이 / 중국 외교부장> "큰 나라가 작은 나라를 괴롭히는 것을 반대하고 자신의 힘만 믿고 약한자를 괴롭히는 것에 반대하고 남에게 강요하는 것을 반대합니다. 다른 나라의 내정을 간섭하는 것도 반대합니다." 미국의 중거리 미사일 배치에 대해 반대하는 시진핑 국가주석의 경고 메시지를 내밀었을 수 있다는 분석도 나옵니다. 강 장관과의 면담은 2시간 넘게 이어졌습니다.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang: "We oppose big nations that bully small countries. They should trust in their own power and not bully weaker ones and to force others to do so. Also oppose interfering in other countries' internal affairs.” Some analysts say that President Xi Jinping might have issued a warning message against the deployment of U.S. mid-range missiles.

한중일 정상회의를 앞두고 의제 조율과 함께 문재인 대통령과 시 주석의 별도 회담에 대한 논의가 집중적으로 이뤄졌을 것이란 관측입니다. 특히 올해까지 이뤄지지 않은 시 주석의 방한과 관련해 내년 중 적정 시기를 구체적으로 맞춰봤을 가능성도 거론됩니다. 왕 부장은 방한 마지막 날 문 대통령을 예방한 뒤 우리측 정·재계 인사들과 오찬을 함께할 예정으로 전해졌습니다. 이 자리에서는 미중 무역 갈등의 핵심으로 떠오른 화웨이에 대한 미국의 불매, 불용 캠페인에 동참하지 말 것을 요구해올 가능성이 거론됩니다.
Analysts say that the two leaders may have focused on coordinating the agenda ahead of the South Korea-China-Japan summit and discussing a separate meeting between President Moon and Chairman Xi. Regarding Xi's visit to South Korea, which he has not yet made this year, there is a possibility that a specific time frame was set to visit South Korea in the new year. Minister Wang is expected to pay a visit to President Moon on the last day of his visit to South Korea and have a luncheon with South Korean political and business leaders. The meeting could possibly focus on concerns and discussion about the US demand of South Korea to boycott (not purchase or use) Huawei technology, which has emerged as a key part of the U.S.-China trade conflict.
