중국이 오늘 사실상의 코로나19 종식 선언을 한다. 시진핑 주석은 오늘(8일) 오전 10시 연설을 통해 코로나19와의 전쟁을 이겨낸 중국 인민들의 희생과 노력을 치하하며 중국 본토에서 코로나19가 사실상 종식됐음을 과시할 것으로 예상된다. 8일 중국 관영매체들에 따르면 시진핑 중국 국가주석은 8일 오전 베이징 인민대회당에서 열리는 '코로나19 방역 표창대회'에서 유공자들에게 직접 상을 수여하고 중요 연설을 한다.

At the awards ceremony, Zhongnan Shan, the head of the China Fair Trade Commission, will receive the highest honor, the Order of the Republic. 중국 신화통신은 코로나19 발병 후 2개월 만에 일일 확진자가 한 자릿수로 떨어졌다고 보도했다. 또 우한시와 후베이성 등 가장 큰 타격을 입은 곳은 단계적으로 승리를 거두었다며 방역 3개월 만에 결정적인 승리를 거뒀다고 전했다. 코로나19의 진앙이었던 중국은 지역감염자가 22일째 0명이다. 국가위생건강위원회는 지난 6일 하루 동안 12명이 코로나19 확진 판정을 받았으나 모두 해외유입 사례라고 강조했다.

He also said that the hardest hit places, such as Wuhan City and Hubei Province, won in stages, and that he won a decisive victory three months after quarantine. The National Hygiene and Health Commission stressed on September 6th that 12 people were confirmed to have been diagnosed with Corona 19, but all of them were cases involving foreigners coming into mainland China.
