중국 3개 대형 택배회사가 잇따라 방탄소년단(BTS) 관련 제품을 배송하지 않겠다고 밝혀 논란이 되고 있다. 중국 정부가 ‘BTS발 한한령’이 시작된 것 아니냐는 우려가 제기되는 가운데 “이 뉴스들은 가짜”라는 반론도 나오고 있다. 20일 중국 포털사이트 신랑왕 등에 따르면 전날 중국 택배업체 윈다가 BTS 관련 제품을 배송하지 않겠다고 밝힌 데 이어, 위엔퉁과 중퉁 등 2곳도 추가로 BTS 제품 배송 중단을 선언한 것으로 알려졌다. 이날 윈다는 공식 웨이보 계정에서 “BTS 관련 문의가 많이 온다. (배송 중단) 이유는 우리 모두가 아는 그것”이라고 전했다. 중퉁도 “BTS 논란의 영향으로 해관총서가 인쇄 제품에 대한 관리 감독을 더욱 철저히 하겠다는 방침을 발표했다”면서 “다른 한국 물품도 문제가 있어 보이면 (세관 직원이) 하나하나 다 뜯어보고 있다”고 설명했다. 위엔통 역시 “우리가 (배송을) 거부하는 것이 아니다. 해관총서에서 BTS 제품을 받지 않는다”고 덧붙였다.
Sparking controversy, three major Chinese delivery companies have announced that they will not ship BTS (BTS)-related products. Amid concerns that the Chinese government may have started the renewed “Economic Sanction” on South Korea’s BTS, some argue that the news is fake. According to the Chinese portal site Groomwang on October 20th, two more companies, including Wien Tung and Jungtung, announced that they would not ship BTS-related products the day before. On the same day, Wanda said on her official Weibo account, "There are a lot of inquiries regarding BTS-related inquiries. The reason is something we all know." Jungtung also explained, "The General Administration of Customs has announced its plan to supervise printed products more thoroughly due to the BTS controversy," adding, "If other Korean goods seem to have problems, customs officials are opening them up one by one." Wientong also said, "We are not rejecting the delivery. We don't just don’t received BTS products at the General Administration of Customs,” he added.
이들 택배사의 설명이 맞다면 BTS 논란 이후 중국 정부가 BTS 관련 제품뿐 아니라 한국에서 들어오는 모든 물품에 대한 관리 감독을 강화한 것으로 추정된다. 다만 정확한 사실을 확인하기가 쉽지 않은 상황이어서 출처가 불분명한 미확인 뉴스가 대거 떠돌고 있어 루머도 커지고 있다. 실제로 현재 위엔퉁과 중퉁의 공식 계정에는 해당 글을 찾아볼 수 없다. 일부 네티즌이 웨이보 조회 수를 올리려는 가짜뉴스를 올린 것 아니냐는 의혹이 제기된다. 앞서 BTS는 지난 7일 미 비영리재단 코리아소사이어티의 밴플리트상을 받고 “한국전쟁 70주년을 맞아 양국이 함께 겪은 고난의 역사와 수많은 희생을 영원히 기억할 것”이라고 말했다. 그러자 중국 누리꾼들은 “중국 군인들의 고귀한 희생을 무시했다”며 공세에 나섰다. 중국 관영매체 환구시보도 “수상 소감 중 ‘양국이 겪은 고난의 역사’라는 부분에 중국 누리꾼들이 분노하고 있다”며 반(反)BTS 여론을 부추겼다.
If these delivery companies' explanations are correct, it is assumed that the Chinese government has strengthened supervision of all goods coming from South Korea, as well as BTS-related products after the BTS controversy. However, as it is not easy to confirm the exact facts, rumors are grow as unidentified news continues to circulate. In fact, there are currently no corresponding articles on the official accounts of Wientung and Zhongtung. Suspicions have been raised that some netizens may have posted fake news to increase the number of Weibo views. Earlier on the October 7th, BTS won the Van Fleet Award from the Korea Society of the U.S. non-profit foundation and stated, "We will forever remember the history of hardships and numerous sacrifices the two countries (United States and South Korea) have experienced together on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War." Then, Chinese Internet users launched an offensive, saying, "BTS ignored the noble sacrifices of Chinese soldiers." China's state-run media Global Times also stirred anti-BTS public opinion, saying that Chinese Internet users are angry about the "history of hardship experienced by both countries" in their acceptance speech
중국은 올해를 ‘항미원조(미국에 맞서 북한을 도움) 전쟁’ 70주년으로 각별히 기념한다. 전날 시진핑 중국 국가주석은 베이징 인민혁명군사박물관에서 ‘중국 인민지원군 항미원조 작전 70주년 전시’를 참관하며 “70년 전 평화를 지키고 침략에 맞서고자 중국 공산당과 정부가 항미원조라는 역사적 결정을 내렸다”고 강조했다고 인민일보가 이날 전했다. 이에 대해 베이징 소식통은 “중국 해관총서가 택배사들에 배송 중단 지시를 내린 것은 아닌 것으로 안다”며 확대 해석을 경계했다.

In response, a source in Beijing cautioned against an expanded interpretation, saying, "I understand that the General Administration of Maritime Affairs of China has not ordered delivery companies to stop shipping.”
