신천지는 총회장인 이만희 씨의 두 번째 입장문을 공개했습니다. 개인 정보를 보호해준다면 전체 신도 명단을 정부에 넘기겠단 내용입니다. 오선민 기자입니다.

이만희 씨는 나흘 전 입장문에서 코로나19 사태를 "마귀가 일으킨 짓"이라고 주장했습니다. 그리고 오늘(25일) 새벽 두 번째 입장문을 냈습니다. 이씨는 "전체 신도 명단을 정부에 제공하고, 전수조사를 진행하겠다"고 했습니다. 예비 신도인 교육생들도 코로나19 검사를 받을 수 있도록 하겠다고도 했습니다. 신천지 전체 신도 수는 20만 명이 넘는 것으로 알려졌습니다. 다만 전제를 달았습니다. 이씨는 "정부에서 성도들의 개인정보 보호 방안을 마련한다는 전제 하에 진행하겠다"고 강조했습니다. 신천지는 지난 20일 대구 교회 신도 9천여 명의 명단을 질병관리본부에 제공했지만 전체 신도 명단은 주지 않았습니다. 중앙재난안전대책본부는 신천지와 협의를 통해 전체 신도 명단과 연락처를 받기로 어젯밤 늦게 합의했다고 밝혔습니다.

Shincheonji on February 20th provided the KCDC with a list of some 9,000 followers of the church in Daegu, but did not give the entire list of believers. The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters says it agreed late last night to receive a full list of believers and contact information through consultations with Shincheonji

중대본은 명단이 확보되는 대로 전국 보건소와 지자체 등에 배포하고 코로나19 조사를 실시할 계획입니다.
